I specialize in helping children navigate life’s challenges and foster healthy social/emotional development.

As a child psychologist with 30 years of experience, I am passionate about supporting children and families through life’s ups and downs. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where kids can feel heard and understood.

I work with children (as young as five through young adulthood) helping them build emotional resilience, cope with stress, and develop healthy ways to express their thoughts and feelings.  I work with parents to give them insight and recommendations on parenting. Outpatient services start with an Initial Evaluation.  Therapy sessions can be scheduled in-person or via telehealth.

I offer comprehensive Psychological Evaluations to clarify one’s intellectual ability, level of academic achievement and social/emotional/behavioral development to help provide diagnostic clarification to rule out Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and to determine if clinical levels of anxiety, depression or other conditions are impacting daily living.

If one of these conditions is impacting a child’s functioning in school, then he or she may need academic and/or testing accommodations or modifications.  Every child is unique, and I take a personalized approach to therapy, working closely with each child to tailor strategies that suit their individual needs. I was trained in, and frequently use, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems approaches. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, difficulty managing emotions, family changes, or other challenges, I am here to support them in their journey toward growth and well-being.
